My Nuttin' but Sunshine Dedication is included with my Chapbook, a collection of my personal creative writings including poetry, prose, short stories, chants, cheers and writing challenges.
I have been trying to spread sunshine online for almost 10 years. Some of the things that I might do is to sign a guest book, leave a graphic, post a cheer, write a personal poem for someone, send an email of encouragement, or an e-card. It is something that I have really enjoyed doing and I have made many friends along the way.

to share, to live, to be!
You know, not every day is perfect. We do not always get in life what we want or what we plan. There is a lyric in a country song that I just love by Montgomery Gentry. It goes something like 'if you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans'. Well yeah, that pretty much sums it up LOL.
Have you ever needed to turn the sun off. Maybe you have worked night shift and needed to sleep so you closed the blinds tight. Can you remember how hard it was to stop the sun from shining through your window? No matter how hard you tried, that sun was bound and determined to break its beams through any crack and cranny it could find. Thankfully, the sun has strength and determination to find us and to shine its warm rays on us.
Our sun is our energy and light. It feeds us a food that we do not even realize just how much we really hunger for. Without our sun we would not exist, just like the spirit can not exist without love and kindness.
Things are going to happen in life and maybe bad things. We have to find the strength within ourselves to make a personal choice and be accepting of the positive that is before us. It really is a choice. It might really get difficult to see that at times, but it is up to us to pull back that curtain and let the sun shine in, instead of covering up our heads to block the light out. |

Some of my creative writing is collected in pages that I have named my chapbook. Not all of my writings are happy and cheerful. I do not always feel happy. There are plenty of times that I am over come with emotional pain and one way for me to allow healing is to write through my darkness. We are made up of so much feeling, emotion, character and personality. It is a shame to not live through any of it, because all of it is what makes us individuals.
