October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I pixeled a pink ribbon and you are welcome to use it. Add it to your emails or to your site and share it with friends. No credit to me is required. Link it to your favorite informative site about Breast Cancer.Earlier this year I was announcing with excitement new changes and updates to Giving Words. Then the latter part of June 2007, I started thinking about closing the award program. This month, that decision was finalized. It was a difficult choice for me to make because I believe in my mission. I realize that the purpose and my efforts will go on as winning sites are still showcased.
The pages have been given a face lift using cascading style sheets and now table less which should be easier for me to maintain. The personal profiles still need to be re-designed but I will be working on that a little later.
This is the start of a monthly newsletter from Giving Words. Each month I hope to bring to you events and articles that promotes literacy and announces ways that we can contribute to better our world.
