From Blessings Cornucopia
Our search for Goodness, for God/Goddess, for unity amidst diversity, and for fundamental truths is the root or nexus point for all our Ways of Living, our faiths, our beliefs, our religions, our philosophies, and our traditions. Eventually, hindsight combined with increased knowledge and wisdom may have rendered some rituals, principles, and practices obsolete or antiquated. Yet, at one time, they fulfilled personal and community needs for worship, for edification, for ethical patterns, for sanctification, and for law and order.
Our cultures are a patchwork quilt stitched together from the remnants of our progenitors, from our Days of Ancient Civilizations and Present Futures Past. As the seasons of the Spirit Wheel turn, we pause to remember our roots from the watermark ancient civilizations. Days long gone but not forgotten, for their Ways live on in our dreams, hearts, and Spirit Songs.
