Link To The Right Opens In A New WindowThe Site Fights
Well beyond my 20 years out of high school, and not giving my creative writing attention in all that time, I then found TSF. In 1999 when I first found my way around the internet, I also discovered website competions and it was TSF that I first joined when I knew barely anything at all about HTML. My site and I were both welcomed even as a beginner and with the friendships and helping hands that many of us identify as Spirit, I learned much more about HTML and writing was once again explored.

As a member of TSF, one is motivated and challenged to SHOUT IT OUT!. Shout it out is cheering or writing a short verse. In my experience, the short and few fun lines are great exercises in starting to write or even a specific poem can be generated quickly then after. With writing a cheer, a voice is developed and the idea of giving your words personality is found and can be used when writing in other forms.

One must be a Woman and a member of Link To The Right Opens In A New WindowWOSIB. As a member of Women of Strength and Inner Beauty, we participate with the many gardens to make our contribution to the group. One of which is the Literary Garden where each member is required to submit a minimum of 2 entries monthly. Each submission catagory is a 'nook' and each nook contains their monthly challenge, and with each month a changing theme. The challenges are set up by the staff and can range from a list of words, to a sentence or phrase to start us off, or even a photo for the members to be inspired. It is a wonderful way to write and to open up to new ideas and forms.
